The Challenge

ClinChoice, a global clinical research organization, recognized the growing importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors in its operations. To enhance its sustainability efforts and improve its ESG ratings, ClinChoice sought the expertise of the Catalyst Group. The goal was to develop internal ESG strategies that would improve the company’s sustainability scores, particularly in areas like EcoVadis, CDP, and Scope 1-3 emissions.

The Solution

The primary objectives of the project were to enhance ClinChoice’s sustainability performance and ESG ratings, particularly in assessments like EcoVadis and CDP. This involved developing a comprehensive Environmental Management System (EMS) to effectively monitor and manage environmental impact, and establishing robust internal policies and procedures that align with global sustainability frameworks. The project also aimed to ensure long-term compliance, mitigate risks, and foster a culture of sustainability throughout the organization. The Catalyst Group:

A Word from ClinChoice

“Our close collaboration with the Catalyst Group has been a tremendous journey, as we collectively created and implemented an Environmental Management System (EMS) that went beyond mapping out our environmental policy and material risks; it also involved a robust process for collecting vital environmental data. We take immense pride in our joint efforts, which have not only allowed ClinChoice to align seamlessly with global sustainability frameworks but have also forged strong commitments to enhance stakeholder engagement and drive significant progress in fulfilling sustainability data submissions, including Science-based targets (SBTi) and CDP initiatives.”
